BIOPSY DAYY.

Hey everyone! Short update.

Today, I had my right axilla (underarm) ultrasound guided core-needle biopsy.

Whew, I went in to the procedure believing it would be as smooth and easy as the breast biopsy–BUT darn! Have you ever had a needle stick to the underarm?! Let’s just say it’s not the most comfortable feeling in the world. Anyway, I should receive these biopsy results next week. Woo-hooo, prayers for negative biopsy. (No cancer in the axilla lymph nodes, *fingers crossed*).

BUT, Dr. Querin and Katrina (along with the other woman) are absolutely incredible. I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire SPU and radiology department at SGMC.

Katrina has been an absolute god-send. She has expedited my appointments and is always so positive. She brightens my day, even when I at times feel as if I am walking in the shadows. BUT, that is when the SON shines in and reassures me that I am loved and he is in control.

After my biopsy, I had a consultation at Plastic Surgery Associates of Valdosta. Shout out to Katie and Bailey! [If any of you are in the market for microblading, CHECK THEM OUT]. Deposit PAID and appointment MADE! Funny thing is, I have wanted to do the microblading for some time now, BUT never imagined it would be under these circumstances. [But, under these circumstances my financial advisor, aka daddy, approved of this purchase, lol]. Although, I have decided to fully embrace the hair loss BUT I cannot go without my Greek eyebrows. LOL.

I also called and made an appointment for a consultation at Jean’s Wig Shop in Jacksonville, Florida. This wig store is not your typical store. Not like a Royal Boutique [although I am a Royal fan]. This wig store meets with you individually, measures the circumference of you head, and specializes each HUMAN HAIR wig to each client. YAY!

Monday brings another Mayo Clinic, yay! My nurse navigator contacted me today and advised me that my LifePort placement will be scheduled when I go to my consult on Monday! YIIKEES! Everything is happening so quickly but I am so excited. Excited to take on this next chapter in my new journey. Ready to embrace the changes I will experience and continue to grow in my faith. God is so good!

My Uncle Steve shared a small piece of advice today and it couldn’t be more true. “We don’t study our bibles to get brownie points with God. We don’t study our bibles so bad things won’t happen to us BUT we study our bibles to grow in our faith in the Lord.”

This couldn’t be more true, especially in my current life. Study hard guys. Faith moves mountains.

Keep me covered in prayers. OH, how they help me through each day.

With love,

Anna Vaggalis
